On
Wednesday May 14th 2003, Hope began a journey
from Sussex to Essex . She was moved to the Blackwater Marina, Maylandsea,
Essex, where she had some work carried out, after which she was rerigged. 4th August. After a couple of months being various shades of grey, pink and white, Hope has taken on some more original colouring and was relaunched at Blackwater Marina. 13th August. With some ballast added to the hull, most of the sails have now been rigged. 29th August. Completed passage from Maylandsea to Maldon by motor and sail. 30th August. On Maldon Quay for Maldon Regatta, until pontoon required for regatta boats. 31st August. Moved to Little Ship Club Moorings off Maldon Promenade. 9th November. Moved back to Maylandsea for the winter. 26th April 2004. Moved to new mooring at Shipways Yard Maldon. 1st May. Sank at her moorings. 2nd May.
