DAY
TRIPS FOR INDIVIDUALS
During the Summer months MIROSA sets aside a number of dates for Day Trips on both Kent's lovely East Swale Estuary, departing from near Faversham, and on Suffolk's beautiful Orwell and Stour rivers, usually departing from Pin Mill. This day gives individuals a chance to experience sailing on this unique Sailing Barge, either watching the crew at work handling the barge's unusual gear, or "turning to" and becoming part of the crew themselves, maybe even enjoying a "trick at the wheel" when conditions are right. Mirosa is carefully converted down below to make a haven for the less hardy sailors, come rain or shine. We hope it will he a day you will savour. |
| To keep
prices down, we supply you with plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits and
even a drink or two for mid-day, but you bring your own lunch! If you would like to join us, for what we hope will be a day to remember, please phone or write for a list of dates. If you can get a party of 12 together we offer you a discount. |
