CONDITIONS OF BOOKING:
Booking must be accompanied by a deposit
of 25% of the total charter fee.
In the event of cancellation by the customer this charge is non-returnable.
The balance of the charter fee must be paid four weeks before the start
of the charter. Bookings made less than four weeks before the start
of the charter must be accompanied by the full charge.
INSURANCE
The insurance and maintenance of the vessels under charter is the sole
responsibility of each vessels owner and Topsail Charters accepts no
liability for loss or damage to persons or goods whilst boarding or
on board a vessel. However, Topsail Charters understands that each vessel
is fully insured and equipped with life-saving equipment as laid down
by the regulation. In all matters regarding the charter and safety of
the vessel, her passengers and her crew, the decision of the skipper
is final.
CANCELLATION BY THE CUSTOMER
If the customer cancels his place on a charter the booking fee is non-returnable.
If the cancellation takes place less than four weeks before the start
of the charter, the customer is liable to pay the full amount of the
charter.
CANCELLATION BY TOPSAIL CHARTERS
. Every effort will be made to carry out cruises as described in the
brochure but in case of adverse weather conditions beyond the company's
control, it may be necessary to change or curtail the planned itinerary.
If the company is able to give two or more days notice of enforced cancellation,
all monies will be refunded.
Wherever possible customers will be offered alternative dates and then
all monies will be carried across to the new charter date. If the customer
arrives for the start of the charter and in the Skipper's opinion it
is unsafe to depart, no refund will be given, but the barge,
her crew and all food will remain at the disposal of the passengers.
Topsail Charters can accept no liability for expense or compensation
arising from enforced cancellation.
