Southend-on-Sea Sailing Barge Match

Date: Sunday August 26th 2012
The race will be held again on the Sunday of the August Bank Holiday
weekend.
Start times are planned as follows:
Class C Slow staysail barges - 11:30am
Class B Fast Staysail barges - 11:45am
Class A Bowsprit barges - 12:00
Thes times may need to be changed on the day if the weather conditions
require it.
Places may be available for charter on the race - contact sbm@thamesbarge.org.uk
for information.
Why not charter a whole barge for up to 12 passengers for a group or
club to take part in the race?
S.B. Edith May will be mooring alongside the pier from Tuesday August
21st and will be available for charter for day trips and corporate entertainment

The prize giving will take place at 8pm at the Alexandra Yacht Club,
Clifton Terrace. Everyone is welcome. A buffet supper will be available,

The Alexandra Yacht Club bar will be open to the public from 1.00pm.
